Location: Canada (Remote)
Duration: 6-12 Months (Possible extension and conversion)

This individual will play a key role in supporting clients access to global futures markets, ensuring smooth operations across trading, clearing, and related functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for front office futures trading activities, ensuring minimal disruption to market access.
- Monitor and react quickly to market events, assisting the trading desk with operational and technical issues as they arise.
- Act as a bridge between front office, middle office, trading operations, technology operations, and clearing operations.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across Capital Markets to resolve issues and support initiatives.
- Learn, maintain, and support all relevant trading and administrative applications used to access global futures markets.
- Participate in onboarding of new traders and integration of new markets.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Prior exposure to listed derivatives (futures/options) and futures market structure.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the technology underpinning futures trading (market access, connectivity, clearing).
- Applications Expertise: Hands-on experience with Fidessa Futures and TT (Trading Technologies) is required.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders across diverse teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to both reactive and strategic work environments.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in a Capital Markets environment within a bank, broker, or trading firm.
- Exposure to market access platforms, trading applications, and clearing systems.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
