Job Description

Job Title: Advertising Operations Specialist III
Location: Remote (preferred: ability to come into NYC ~1x per month)
Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension or conversion)
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize media tools & technology, ensuring proper access governance across internal and external teams.

  • Monitor and control media budgets and spend within financial systems; track invoices and accruals from third-party vendors and agencies.

  • Support media agency partnerships, ensuring fiscal responsibility, billing accuracy, and compliance.

  • Assist in the implementation of a global training framework to strengthen media operations and governance.

  • Drive adoption of global media principles and standards (planning, measurement, verification, billing).

  • Support onboarding processes for new team members and third-party agencies.

  • Maintain trackers, organize shared drives, and manage permissions to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Advocate for a “One Media Team” culture, promoting collaboration across regions and partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or 5+ years of equivalent work experience.

  • 4–5 years’ experience in a media agency or working with global/regional media agencies.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in an operations role (Marketing, Media, Agency, or Business).

  • Strong process orientation with proven track record in designing and implementing workflows.

  • Project management expertise, including planning, documentation, timelines, and KPI tracking.

  • Knowledge of media disciplines, channels, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Experience in change management within complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building operational processes and driving adoption across teams.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite for trackers and process documentation.

  • Background in data or technology-related roles.

  • Strong instincts and ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

  • Experience working with Finance, Sourcing, and Marketing teams.
