Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Georgetown, KY

Note: Travel: 25% International travel-  Potential travel to any of the Toyota North America locations including Canada and Mexico.
 
 
Job description

• As a Controls Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency by designing and implementing advanced data collection, visualization, control systems, and process improvements for equipment across our Stamping, Plastics, Casting, and Powertrain shops. This may encompass:
• Developing and updating PLC, HMI, SCADA, vision systems, RFID, and IIoT systems.
• Creating and optimizing hardwire layouts, panel layouts, and field device layouts.
• Overseeing installation supervision and commissioning processes to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

 
Requirements:
What you bring:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Work Experience.
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming
• Solid understanding of Industrial networking
• Electrical hardware design experience
• Experience with equipment installation and commissioning
• Strong multitasking ability
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 
Bonus if you have:

• Client Production System Knowledge
• Stamping Press, Injection Molding, Casting, CNC Automation Equipment Knowledge
• Experience with Ignition Software
