Job Description

Title: Electrical / Electronic Engineer II
Location: High Point, North Carolina, United States, 27260
Duration: 12 Months 

Summary:

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific applications. The role requires proficiency in creating engineering drawings, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring designs meet quality, safety, and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring systems, and lighting.
  • Evaluate cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety of design models.
  • Prepare time and cost estimates for projects.
  • Simulate and test machine, structure, or system operations.
  • Research, investigate, and test products from vendors and competitors.


Required Skills:

  • Strong creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common computations.
  • Proficiency in detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
  • Solid understanding of electrical theory and its application in engineering projects.
  • Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) and other engineering software tools.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.
