Job Title: Underwriting Associate (Part-Time)
Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ 08889
Duration: 4 months’ Assignment
Shift/Hours: 20 hours/week, 4 hours per day, Mon through Thurs, May require more hours
Work Model: Onsite/5 days in office
 
Roles/Responsibilities:

• Downloading renewal analysis template with core information for Underwriting Assistance review 90 days prior to renewal.
• Reviewing the implementation policy document within 3 days of receipt to make sure it matches the quote.
• Sending multiline policies /endorsements to be booked and issued.
• Reaching out to brokers and overseas clients producing office for renewal information within 90-60 days of renewal
• Sending policy copies to brokers as requested.
• Helping Underwriting Assistances / Underwriters review and resolve Work Comp criticisms.
• Additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing high-volume workloads efficiently.
• Strong desk management skills to prioritize tasks and maintain organization.
• Adaptability to quickly shift focus and respond to changing priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to compile, evaluate and interpret detailed information and data.
• Strong data entry and computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.

Experience/Education Requirements:

• Years of experience – 1+ Underwriting Assistant
• Skill set required – Microsoft Office, Excel, or Access, Word etc.
• High School degree.
