Job Description
Title: Associate Project Manager
Duration: 4+ months
Location: Stockton, CA 95206 (Hybrid, 1-2 times/week)
Note: Only submit candidates currently residing locally to the area/near the work location-Stockton. The assignment is hybrid and will be required 1-2 times a week at the Stockton site or other locations as requested. A company cell phone will be provided. If applicable, mileage/lodging can be expensed with the manager's prior approval.

Job Responsibilities:
- Define project scope and objectives.
- Develop cost/benefit analysis, detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, test plans, contracts, risk and mitigation strategies, change management and communication plans.
- Define and secure authorization and funding for projects. Determine staffing and individual roles and responsibilities of project team.
- Responsible for directing and monitoring the work of team members and conducting project meetings.
- Maintain the project plan, including risk management, issue management, change management and communication plans.
- Ensure that all requirements, project plans and changes to commitment are communicated to all impacted team members.
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams and different locations, including all vendors and sub-contractors.
- Responsible for the overall management and integration of requirements including the integration of vendor tasks; tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Measure, monitor and report progress at clearly defined points to ensure on time and on budget delivery by balancing and adjusting scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications and presentation skills.
- Ability to present information, status and issues in clear and concise manner with goal of driving decision.
- Ability to organize and facilitate groups ensuring time is used effectively and drives projects forward.
- Ability to work effectively with senior staff members and management.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience in IT Project Management.
- PMP certification.
- BA/BS in Management, Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related experience.
