Title: Marketing Advisor
Duration: 4+ Months
Location: 100% work at home, candidates must work EST hours.
 
Note: This is a fully remote position; however, preference will be given to candidates in or near the Bloomfield, CT area
 
Description:
  • B2B Lifecycle Marketing Orchestration
  • The Marketing Orchestration team plays a pivotal role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of a dynamic lifecycle marketing team and contributes to the organization’s overall growth objectives. This team operates as the “conductor” of multiple fast-moving marketing teams to drive alignment around a shared strategy/vision with the goal of enabling buyers to realize value throughout the client lifecycle.
  • General Purpose of the Role: The Marketing Orchestration Advisor will focus mainly on managing several projects, including (but not limited to) documenting, publishing, and maintaining our learning agenda and training opportunities, process playbooks, and enhancing our internal lifecycle team publication site. This position supports the Marketing Orchestration Senior Manager and is pivotal in managing the timely delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities include:
 
Project Management:
  • Utilize Wrike to develop project plans and manage workflow.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including potential cost, schedule, and resource requirements.
  • Maintain work plans considering priorities, key milestones, time estimates, task sequencing, and identification of tasks that may be performed concurrently to achieve objectives.
  • Identify risks and vulnerabilities, create contingency plans, and resolve issues, escalating as needed.
  • Ensure timely and quality development and distribution of all deliverables for projects.
  • Implement communication and reporting mechanisms to manage issues, risks, and timely delivery of initiative results.
  • Track and monitor the financials of assigned projects.
  • Run weekly team status calls for campaign teams
Marketing Orchestration:
  • Support a culture focused on customer value realization and experience.
  • Integrate plans from marketing subfunctions and peer teams to document specific project/program scheduling.
  • Work cross-functionally to communicate issues and propose options for mitigating risks and dependencies.
  • Help manage orchestration team requests and delivery schedules.
Training/team Portal Management:
  • Curate training opportunities for B2B Lifecycle team members.
  • Build and organize a Confluence space to house all training links and pathways.
  • Ensure the training portal is up-to-date and accessible to all team members.
  • Evaluate and implement improvements to the team's Iris portal.
Technical Skills & Demonstrated Knowledge:
  • Demonstrated project management skills and success in managing larger projects with multiple work streams.
  • Ability to foster collaboration, value others' perspectives, and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposals.
  • Excellent oral, written presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen.
  • Experience with technologies such as Wrike, Confluence, Sharepoint, Webex, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other tools: MS Excel (advanced level), MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Visio, and Wrike.
 Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree and five years of related work experience focused on project management and/or training, workflows and documentation.
  • Five to seven years of marketing experience, ideally in a marketing planning or marketing project management role.
  • Experience with writing marketing standard operating procedures or similar.
  • Experience with integrated marketing planning across business units, regions, and functional teams.
  • Proven success in establishing relationships across multiple functions and teams to achieve desired results.
  • Experience enabling teams and implementing change management.
  • Competencies:

  • Ability to transfer campaign and program literacy into an action-oriented plan with customer value and experience at the core.
  • Excellent communicator with exceptional attention to detail.
