Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (EST Hours)
Duration: 4 Months (High possibility of extensions)
Technical Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity (tools: New Relic).
• Implements Scripting & Automation (Python <50%).
• Manages AWS services: Lambda, S3, EC2, IAM, KMS, VPC.
• Supports 5 core business applications and 40+ supporting services (hosted in Lambda/EC2).
• Develops and maintains CI/CD & DevOps pipelines (GitLab, SonarQube, Fortify).

Technical Skills (Required):

• Backend: Java, SpringBoot, REST APIs, Python, MicroServices.
• Frontend: Angular.js, Node.js, HTML, CSS.
• Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, Secrets Manager).
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, SonarQube, Fortify.

Education & Experience:

• 4-Year/Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• AWS Associate-level certification (Application Development/Architecture preferred).

Additional Expectations:

• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic).
• Strong problem-solving skills for debugging and system improvements.
