Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

- We are seeking a highly organized and self-directed Program Manager (Contractor) to accelerate our B2B vendor engagement and enablement capabilities within the Consumables Category Business Development team. This role is critical for reducing the operational burden on Business Development Managers (BDMs) and improving the vendor experience through scalable content, streamlined processes, and self-service solutions.
- The Program Manager will own a portfolio of projects focused on marketing collateral development, vendor communication, and pilot program management. They will work cross-functionally with Business Development Managers, Product Managers, B2B Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and implement standardized tools that drive adoption of Amazon Business programs across our vendor base.
- This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to shape how vendors engage with our B2B offerings at scale.
- Develop and Own a Vendor-Facing B2B Marketing Toolkit: Build editable, templatized resources (pitch decks, one-pagers, email copy, FAQs) to help category teams communicate B2B value consistently and efficiently.
- Lead Program Management for B2B Pilot Campaigns: Set up, track, and report on vendor-funded B2B initiatives (e.g., trial offers, ABPF pilots) to ensure timely execution and data capture for future scaling.
- Create and Maintain a B2B Content Calendar: Coordinate a 3–6 month calendar of seasonal campaigns, vendor engagement moments, and cross-category events to align internal and external efforts.
- Launch a Vendor-Facing B2B Newsletter: Own development and publication of a recurring newsletter that highlights B2B performance insights, vendor success stories, and upcoming opportunities.
- Conduct Competitive Benchmarking: Research competitor platforms (e.g., Staples, Walmart, Sysco) to identify opportunities for improvement in vendor positioning and messaging.
- Design and Centralize B2B FAQs: Build a self-service FAQ resource to address the most common vendor questions, drawing from internal documents, past communications, and sales collateral.
- Establish a Vendor Resource Hub: Stand up a lightweight portal or wiki to house B2B onboarding materials, case studies, sell sheets, and other educational assets.
- Build a Repeatable Win-Loss Case Study Template: Enable category teams to easily document and share learnings from successful (or failed) B2B vendor engagements.
- Implement a CRM-lite Outreach Tracker: Create and manage a tracking system (Excel or equivalent) to monitor vendor outreach and engagement progress across the funnel.
- 3+ years of program or project management experience in a B2B, marketing, vendor management, or category development role
- Proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously with minimal guidance
- Strong written communication and content development skills
- Experience creating scalable tools, templates, or resource hubs
- Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Excel)
- Comfortable interfacing with stakeholders across marketing, category management, and sales enablement teams
- Experience in eCommerce, vendor enablement, or B2B marketing programs
- Familiarity with Amazon Business or other B2B platforms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to distill complex programs into simple, digestible content
- Strategic mindset with a bias for action and operational rigor
