Position Title: Associate Quality Control
Work Location: West Greenwich, RI, USA, 02817
Assignment Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Work Schedule: Saturday - Tuesday, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM, 10-hour shift schedule
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite, no opportunity for remote work

Position Summary: Responsible for microbiology & analytical testing, sample/data management, and equipment maintenance in a dynamic team environment.

Background & Context:

• Looking for local candidates in the New England area, exclusively, as the worker will be onsite at the Rhode Island facility.
   

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sample collection and sample handling to support GMP operations and Environmental/Water monitoring.
• Perform testing and possible data review for compendia, non-compendia methods, and routine laboratory procedures.
• Generate complete, accurate, and concise laboratory documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks.
• Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Participate in laboratory investigations and audits as necessary.
• Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities.
• Maintain training compliance and proficiency.
• At all times, comply with safety guidelines, cGMPs/CFRs and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience.
• General lab experience/lab background.
• GDP/GMP experience.
• Ability to work in teams.
• Previous lab experience is preferred.
