Mainframe Developer
Salem, OR (100% Remote)
12 months - contract
Part-time (4 hours a day-8am-12pm)

THIS IS PART TIME FOR 1 YEAR SCHEDULE WILL BE NEGOTIATED WHEN SELECTED

Job Responsibilities:

• Computer systems specialists provide technical guidance for the development and troubleshooting of computer systems.
• Identify system data, hardware or software components required to meet user needs.
• Develop guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams.
• Require a bachelor's degree in a related area with at least at least 6 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area.

The agency requires a mainframe developer who has at least three (3) years of experience with the operations and maintenance of financial systems.
The Contractor shall:

• Perform software system development related to enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Provide software and system support for break/fix and bug repair.
• Develop maintenance documentation for coding and break/fix resolution.
• Provide quality assurance and testing of code.
• Provide knowledge transfer to appropriate personnel related to system functions and changes implemented.
