Position Title: Quality Assurance Associate
Work Location: Thousand Oaks, CA 91320

Position Summary: Responsible for sampling and inspection of raw materials and components and performing Quality review of documentation.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Under general supervision, this position is responsible for sampling and inspection of raw materials and components and for performing Quality review of documentation for assigned functions (e.g. equipment and maintenance records).
• Duties will include the operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment associated with sampling, e.g., Toledo balance, drum lift, pallet jack, etc.
• Maneuvering large drums required.
• Employees will also be responsible for the maintenance of training records, recording and computing data.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or associate degree and 4 years of directly related experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of directly related experience.
 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science OR associate’s degree in science and 3 years of experience in biotechnology/Pharma environment OR 3 years of experience in regulated biotechnology/Pharma environment.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, effective time management, and clear communication skills.
• Previous experience with GMP is a plus but not mandatory, as training can be provided.
• The role is fully onsite in Thousand Oaks, CA, and requires the ability to lift 50+ pounds and pass a vision assessment for inspection work.
• General understanding of aseptic techniques, cGMPs, gowning, sampling procedures and safety guidelines.
• Work as a team player and/or independently.
• Multi-task and basic problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Time management.
• Proficient computer skills (i.e. documentation systems, databases and spreadsheets).
• Job stability is important. Candidates with multiple short-term roles within a brief period may be deprioritized.
