Title: Program manager
Duration: 4months
Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid
Project Overview:
This role will support multiple projects across the financial risk stripes that include migration of model risk management which includes development, execution and validation modernization effort and a migration from on-prem solutions to vendor-based SaaS hosting model. Other projects are focused on data modernization across the financial risk and regulatory reporting stripes.
Contractor’s Role:
This role will oversee and drive the execution of financial risk initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational risk management objectives. The role will also manage the budget estimates and forecasts and ensure that delivery of the project is on time and budget.
Experience Level: 3 (Senior)

Qualifications (must haves):
- 10+ years of experience in managing and leading large enterprise initiative with focus and experience on Financial Risk, Regulatory, and Data.
- Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization.
- Experience in managing stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing
- Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiative to support financial risk, regulatory, and data modernization.
- Represent status updates, key deliverables, and issues or risk to the Steering Committee stakeholders.
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
- Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
- Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Define project scope, timelines, and budgeting.
- Orchestrate activities of cross-functional teams and monitor risk, issues, and dependencies.
- Prepare and present regular updates to the steering committee and associated stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and audit engagements.
- Optimize processes for risk mitigations and facilitate decision making.
