Position Title: Program Manager
Work Location: Princeton Pike or Giralda Farms, NJ
Assignment Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Work Arrangement: Hybrid: 50% onsite
Position Summary: Partners with US Marketing and Sales teams to develop Promotional Education Program (Peer-to-Peer / P2P) strategies and tactics in alignment with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintains an understanding of promotional education trends and business priorities in order to identify opportunities to drive business impact.
• Provides recommendations to US Brand and Sales matrix teams to guide best-in-class HCP customer engagement.
• Conducts or coordinates appropriate analysis to support recommendations and to further enhance P2P knowledge, expertise.
• Collaborates with brand teams to plan and track Promotional Education Program operational budgets.
• Develops and manages speaker training budgets to include venue, travel, logistics, vendor fees and HCP honoraria.
• Creates/updates, gains alignment/approval for, and manages distribution of speaker program planning documents (series brief).
• Initiates HealthSTAR project plan for activation of speaker programs to field force.
• Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders on the implementation of podium programs/symposia within conferences & congresses.
• Partner with Speaker Bureau Vendor and podium program/symposia point for submission of all documentation to execute tactic.
• Identifies, drafts, and/or gains approval for speaker training content, pre/post-event communications, and other supporting P2P resources.
• Develops and gains approvals on pull-through Promotional Education Program materials, including acting as Champion in Promotional Review of non-core content (such as program invites and recruitment materials).
• Manages brand speaker communications regarding training content updates, label changes, etc.
• Accountable for speaker training planning and execution, including venue coordination, vendor management and logistics, HCP Payments and training records.
• Delivers stakeholder training to all commercial and medical team participants.
• Manages requirements for speaker contracting, conducts analysis for bureau size recommendations/regional allocations, and partners with Field Sales and Medical on nominations/validations for new speakers.
• Determines fair market value (FMV) and secures legal consultation Manages speaker bureau maintenance and speaker support resources.
• Manages contracting and logistics vendor partners to ensure availability of speakers and resources to the field.
Qualification & Experience:
• BA/BS degree.
• Candidate should possess pharmaceutical industry experience with understanding of Promotional Education Programs; therapeutic area/brand team experience preferred; sales, project management, and/or operations experience also.
• Understanding of Commercial Operations or Strategy.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, management, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven track record collaborating with large matrix teams.
