Shift : 1st shift
Provides courteous and efficient customer service and answers more complex or difficult customer inquiries. Provides a variety of administrative support to assigned group.

Provides courteous and efficient customer service and answers more complex or difficult customer inquiries. Provides a variety of administrative support to assigned group.
Job duties:
- Answers telephone calls and/or email regarding service in English & Spanish, operation or maintenance.
- Accurately processes customer in-person and electronic file payments using the Customer
- Information System
- Researches and answers -customer inquiries.
- Process customer requests for service or start/stop service.
- Performs clerical and administrative duties as required
- Processes customer complaints and forwards to proper department to properly address concerns
- Assists others in the office as needed
Education / Experience / Background:
- High school diploma or GED plus additional specialized courses or Associates Degree in a related field.
- At least one or more years internal or directly related experience with knowledge of departmental functions, policies, procedures, terminology and interrelationships.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Customer service and Billing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to independently compose effective written internal or customer communications in both English and Spanish. Good telephone etiquette.
- Accurate typing speed of 50 words per minute. Demonstrates PC skills with MS Word and Excel and has ability to develop spreadsheets and modify formats in order to complete assignments.
- Must demonstrate ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Must be able to handle diverse tasks simultaneously and work effectively with interruptions and meet or exceed service and quality goals. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues
- Employee Orientation. Cross Training and advanced Systems training when necessary.
- Training to keep abreast of new technology, industry trends and practices to improve efficiency. Performs some advanced functions as part of training and development.
Work Environment:
- Spends most of time in an office environment.
- Must take care in moving or lifting office supplies
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
