Job Title: IT Project Manager
Duration: 4+ months (Potential for extension)
Location: Chicago, IL ( Hybrid, 3 days a week)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the Protocol Analysis & Remediation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle, ensuring that all objectives are met within the specified timeline and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for the Protocol Analysis & Remediation project.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with the organization's security objectives.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the information security domain.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly desirable.
• A college or university degree, MBA, or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
• Previous job roles that may indicate success include IT Project Manager, Security Project Manager, and Program Manager.
Skills Required:
• Ability to guide teams, set objectives, and ensure project success
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management
• Strong planning, budgeting, and scheduling capabilities
• Risk and change management skills
• Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps (ADO) Boards, Clarity PPM, or similar.
