Job Description
Position Title: Quality Improvement Specialist (HEDIS)
Work Location: Remote - KY, EST/CST (Strongly prefer candidates in the Louisville, KY area)
Assignment Duration: 3 Months
Work Arrangement: Remote
Position Summary: These team members will be supporting our medical record collection work, working pended chart chases to resolve issues allowing our vendors to collect medical records for our RAPs project as well as potentially supporting our HEDIS project work.
Background & Context:
- Supporting medical record collection for RAPs and potentially HEDIS projects.
- Interfacing with provider offices and the Quality Team to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities: - Making outreach calls or faxing our providers for the purpose of medical record collection.
- Processing & scanning medical records.
- Making outreach calls and/or faxing our providers for the purpose of medical record collection.
- Protecting HIPAA, PHI, and PII for our members and provider network.
- To maintain movement of medical record collection efforts by addressing vendor pends and working with providers to resolve identified issues, processing & scanning medical records with a goal of processing all collected medical records within the specified timeframe of the project.
- System access and training in provider portal as well as other needed resources to ensure successful transition to the team and the project function.
Qualification & Experience: - Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook.
- Great communication skills.
- Professional demeanor.
- HS Diploma, plus specified medical/office training.
- Preferred: Medical or office background.
- Preferred: Medical Assistant, Administrative Assistant (administrative degree).
