Title: Program Manager II/ Recruiting Event Specialist 
Location: SFC/ MPK, Austin, TX, Chicago, IL, New York, NY
Duration: 3+ Months

Overview:
We are seeking dynamic Recruiting Event Specialists to support recruiting conferences and events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional candidate experiences. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of recruiting events across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute recruiting events, including booking venues, managing catering, budgeting, creating briefings, and handling registration and logistics
• Build and maintain event pages with accurate, brand-approved content
• Confidently communicate with candidates across multiple recruiting pipelines and represent the company’s technology and products
• Deliver exceptional candidate experiences and build rapport with external attendees
• Travel to and attend events to provide on-site support and ensure flawless execution
• Manage event lifecycle tasks from setup to teardown
• Develop and manage booth schedules to ensure full coverage and engagement
• Host and support small-scale events such as dinners and candidate meetups
• Manage event inventory and promotional materials (SWAG)
• Coordinate shipping logistics, vendor management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Minimum Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in event planning, marketing, coordination, or event management
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working in team settings and cross-functional environments
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and delivering results
• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with recruiting events or event planning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and event platforms like Splash
