Job Title: Project/Program Manager I

Duration: 5 months
Shift: Monday to Friday Night Shift (7 PM to 4 AM)
Job Description
  • The project manager will be responsible for overseeing on-site execution, working night shifts (7 PM to 4 AM)

  • Maintaining in-depth communication between site operations and senior leadership.
  • The role involves extensive travel within the continental United States, potentially anywhere from Seattle to Florida.
  • Candidates need to live close to a major airport for easier travel arrangements. (The HM mentioned they want to avoid situations where candidates are 2-3 hours away from an airport, as that made travel difficult in the past.)
  • The job requires being prepared to travel Monday through Friday for the duration of the 9-month assignment, minus major federal holidays. - The goal is to assign one project at a time, so travel would likely be to a consistent location for about 5-6 months. • The work involves retrofitting existing Client grocery buildings, modifying them to meet new design requirements and customer needs.
  • Responsibilities include design review, ordering shelving, overseeing installation of new shelving through third-party contractors, and ensuring all work meets permitted standards and food health safety standards.
  • The project manager needs to be able to work in a live operational environment, making changes to buildings while they're still running without impacting customer or associate experience.
  • The role requires strong communication skills, technological proficiency (including use of computers, email, Microsoft software, and potentially CAD or other specialized software), and the ability to travel continuously.
