Location: Remote-MO, CA, TX, FL
Duration: 05 months with potential to extend
Shift: 8am- 6pm
Job Description:

Work with the Pharmacists to accurately prepare prescription orders promptly
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with pharmacists to prepare prescription orders accurately and promptly.

Verify state-specific regulations for prescription reorders.
-
Communicate with physician offices to secure refills and prescriptions.

Engage effectively with team members and physician offices.
-
Process at least 9 prescription referrals per hour.

Demonstrate knowledge of medications used for chronic or debilitating illnesses.
Qualification & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of pharmacy technician or medical office (i.e., biller, coder, office assistance, or prior authorization/certification) experience

Familiarity with drugs commonly used to treat chronic/debilitating illnesses
-
State pharmacy technician license(s) relative to where the employee and assigned pharmacy are located (Exception: NY doesn’t require it) – License is required upon hire
