Job Description

Job Title – Project/Program Manager III
Duration – 11 Months
Location – Remote

Travel: 50-75%
Manager will try to keep the contractor as regional as possible
 
  • For launches, the travel time will be onsite for a few weeks to a month around the launch date to ensure that the everything the vendors it is all being done correctly. The team is not exactly sure on how long. In the past the full-scale building launches were up to 6 weeks but since these are smaller scale projects the HM does not imagine it to be that long.
 
  • Group: This team does start up activities, which is mainly overseeing 3rd party vendors doing a lot of the finalization work toward launches of a certain type of building. The HM’s peers will conduct the full-scale building launches and the HM’s team is responsible for Grocery Implementation. So, after the building launches the team is responsible for coming in and implementing the grocery components and getting that operation live. As well as undertaking more, retro fit projects to already existing buildings.
 
  • The work itself, will be mainly monitoring one main vendor, for installing racking, have teams come in to do taping, hanging signs, etc to make sure it is a fit and finish product before handing it over to operations. As well as working with other vendors for smaller projects here and here.
 
  • The vendors the team works with will have one main manager that these contractors will be in communication with. For example, one vendor the team works with is green heath who has one main manager for the project and that is who the GB would be working with and reporting if things are not going well. If things are on time and if the team has not received stuff
 
Surrounding Team and Key Projects:
  • Supporting team with various site launches, retrofits and expansions.
  • Typically for these projects the team will be managing will be smaller scale since they are managing just a portion/ component of the building itself. There may be 5-7 vendors in total outside of the main vendor these contractors will be working with to get things installed. 
Interaction with Team:
  • The team focus on high standards, good comradery, virtual team. Keeping up with ppl and outside of work.
  • Fast past, with the big push and having eyes on the programs and pressure to make sure those buildings go off.
  • More heads down work. Some collaboration with Vendors as well as operations to keep those relations, they will have some interaction with a few leaders
 
Typical Task Breakdown:
  • Mainly monitoring one main vendor, for installing racking, have teams come in to do taping, hanging signs, etc to make sure it is a fit and finish product before handing it over to operations.
  • As well as working with other vendors for smaller projects here and here.
  • Get an Asana playbook where they 100- 200 tasks in and will make sure other teams are tracking as well.
  • Contractor will be using Field wire to track the vendors tasks and completion (pictures/ assess those)
  • Once they are in the knee deep of it there will be some communication with vendors and troubleshooting (things not happening on time, making sure work is completed to a certain standard and deliveries are on time)

Degrees / Certs and/or Experience Required:
  • 5+ years of Experience
  • Experience with Vendor management
  • Experience with Relationship management
  • Good timeline experience and holding others to timelines
  • Excel/ word/ outlook 
  • Experience with launching a program/ store front
  • Proactive comminution, working ahead of the problems and communicate activity
 
Preferred Skills
  • Asana experience would be great
 
Performance Indicators/ how will they be measured:
  • The main big things are timeliness and making sure the Asana playbook is being used.
  • Quality of job delivered. They are delivering actual buildings and make sure the tape on the ground/ racks and done to the right standard.
  • Team will be developing a score card to measure reporting, quality delivered, there is a huge checklist (audit to assess the launch).

Vendors management
Experience with Relationship management
