Job Description
Position Title: Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator Specialist
Work Location: Princeton Pike or New Brunswick
Assignment Duration: 5 Months
Position Summary: This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all training requests and successful maintenance of the Training System for GPS impacted areas. This position will provide technical support to the business as required for use of the Learning Management System. Must have the ability to communicate information across all employee levels. This position reports to Senior Director, GPS & GxP Learning Operations. This role supports GPS and is a member of the GPS & GxP Learning Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages global domain accounts and learning activities daily.
- Handles priority requests in the electronic Learning Management and Training Management system.
- Supports line of business systems administrators to resolve issues pertaining to the technical functionality of the LMS and ServiceNow.
- Ensures LMS system standards, policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
- Participates in the quality assurance and data integrity process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all information and data residing in the LMS.
- Provide guidance and information to leadership and end users on curricula and learning assignments.
- Provides reports/queries/metrics as requested from Learning Management System for compliance and supports miscellaneous requests.
- Collaborates with internal IT to provide LMS troubleshooting.
- Recognizes and resolves training discrepancies. Communicates any such occurrence and corrective action to affected personnel.
- Manages, schedules, and coordinates training for GMP and non-GMP courses.
- Acts as a support fielding questions and issues from internal customers related to the business and systems.
- Contributes to completion of training system-related objectives as assigned.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Qualification & Experience:
- B.S in education, science, or related discipline or its equivalent is highly desired.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of ELMS, preferably SuccessFactors.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a training / learning organization / function.
- Biotech/pharmaceutical/GxP industry or experience in a highly regulated environment strongly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of GxPs and the know-how to work and manage within a regulated environment.
- Adaptable to a fast paced, complex, and ever-changing business environment.
- Intermediate skills to navigate a document management system (DMS) and Learning Management System (LMS).
- Must be able to properly communicate e-mails and routine business matters with management with high level of accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent verbal communication, documentation, and technical writing skills.
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills under resource constraints and time pressure.
- Must be action-oriented and customer-focused and possess learning agility.
- Ability to work independently, have a high degree of accountability and accuracy of work.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
