Tittle: Field Service Technician I
Location: San Antonio TX and surrounding areas
Shift Hrs: M-f 9-6 1hr lunch maybe OT some after hours
Duration: 3 months (Temp to Hire)
Payrate : $19/hr on W2

- Is this position remote or in person? Runs cases out of their home
- What will the primary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person? Field dispatch running cases and fixing issues at accounts all over the area
- What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? Organized and self-driven •
- Will there be OC (on call) or differentials? Yes
- How many overall years of experience should this person have? 1 yr of printer repair and 1 yr of field dispatch
- Do they need any specific certifications or education? No but A+ would be nice
- If contract to hire what is the conversion rate? $22 per hr
- How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? Depends could be any where between 40 and 85 a day, could be more
- What radius range should candidates be located from the job location? Work area is all of San Antonio and surrounding areas
- What is the exact work location or city, state, or zip? Would like tech to live in or near 78226 • How soon will the candidate review and interviews start? asap
- Do you have upcoming vacations or time out of the office? no
- What issues have you had with this req in the past? No printer repair experience or field dispatch experience, tech will not be hired
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
- May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- Typically reports to a project leader or manager
