Role: Marketing Coordinator I / Digital Marketing Specialist
Duration: 6 months
Location: Vancouver, BC, CAN, V6E3X1 (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)


About the Role
As a key member of our marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will play a vital role in supporting our Vacation Consultants by equipping them with the tools, resources, and training they need to promote their travel groups effectively. This position combines creativity, customer service, and facilitation skills to design marketing materials, provide hands-on training, and serve as a supportive guide for Vacation Consultants of varying skill levels.
We’re looking for someone who can bridge technology and marketing with a personable and collaborative approach, making even the most complex tools easy to understand for our independent Vacation Consultants. Adventure and exploration are at the heart of what we do, and we need a self-starter who’s ready to bring their enthusiasm and expertise to fuel our Vacation Consultants’ success.

Key responsibilities include:

Toolkit Creation
  • Design ready-to-use marketing templates, including, but not limited to:
  • Landing Page Templates for promoting travel groups.
  • Email Templates to engage potential travelers.
  • Social Media Post Templates for maximum visibility and excitement.
  • Sell Sheets highlighting group details and pricing.
  • Store Window Inserts, like special boards, to draw in customers.
Training and Support
  • Create and distribute training materials, videos, and thorough documentation showing Vacation Consultants how to effectively market their travel groups.
  • Host training webinars to guide Vacation Consultants at all skill levels on using marketing tools and templates.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Vacation Consultants, answering their questions and helping them make the most of the provided resources.
Quality and Approvals
  • Manage the submission and approval process for marketing materials created by Vacation Consultants to ensure they meet brand and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Marketing Expertise
  • Proven experience creating marketing resources such as toolkits, templates, email campaigns, landing pages, social media posts, and training guides.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Hands-on experience with copywriting, social media platforms, and email marketing.
Customer-Centric Mindset
  • Strong understanding of customer service and the ability to adapt your approach to a diverse group of independent contractors.
  • Experience working with people who have limited marketing and technical skills is a plus.
  • Training and Facilitation
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills with prior experience leading training sessions for large groups at varying skill levels.
  • Ability to create engaging training resources, from videos to webinars, that empower users with confidence and practical knowledge.
  • Comfortable using and teaching software and tools for marketing, landing page creation, and email campaigns.
  • Ability to make complex tools accessible to less tech-savvy users.

Industry Knowledge
  • A background in, or knowledge of, the travel industry and its unique dynamics will help you connect with and support Vacation Consultants more effectively.
