Position Summary
- We’re seeking an Acquisition Marketing Manager, Contractor to join our Integrated Marketing Campaign Management team. Acquisition Marketing is responsible for delivering solutions, experiences, and communications to ensure the best outcomes for prospective clients while driving growth. Working with the Sr. Manager, Acquisition Marketing, this role focuses on creating a positive prospect experience no matter where leads are in their journey, for both the B2B advisor and B2C donor audiences.
- The Acquisition Marketing Manager, Contractor will help develop, execute, and optimize comprehensive lead generation and nurture marketing strategies to better engage prospects, with the ultimate goal of improving funnel conversion rates and revenue.
- Candidates for the role must understand the marketing sales processes and associated tech stacks, including marketing automation and CRM platforms. This individual will work closely with cross-functional partners, including sales, field enablement, content marketing, digital marketing, and more. Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, ability to collaborate and take direction, and adaptability to pivot when necessary are key ingredients to success in this role.
- Contribute to, and in spots own, end-to-end marketing development and project management, including content creation/maintenance, email and landing page publishing through partner teams, internal and compliance reviews, proofreading/QA, and post-launch campaign analysis and optimization.
- Provide additional, ad hoc acquisition marketing and communications support for sales.
- Create and execute integrated lead generation marketing campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, and CRM/sales insights to attract and capture qualified leads to drive marketing-sourced pipeline for sales.
- Develop and manage effective lead nurture marketing campaigns to progress leads through the sales funnel and maximize conversion rates.
- Develop and manage email templates and automated messages to augment sales interaction with prospects.
- Foster strong collaboration between the marketing, field enablement, and sales teams to ensure alignment on target audiences, messaging, and goals.
- Align marketing efforts with sales and business objectives to help drive revenue growth while ensuring a seamless handoff of qualified leads from marketing to sales.
- Function as backup liaison for Acquisition Marketing with key partners.
- Leverage data to build reports that help tell the lead generation story to determine which tactics are most effective in generating qualified leads.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or other related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years marketing experience, preferably in the philanthropic and/or financial sector.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect the dots between channels and client-facing teams.
- Highly collaborative working style and proven ability to establish trust and respect.
- Detail-oriented with great proofreading skills.
- Analytical mindset ready to leverage data for valuable insights.
- Ideal candidate will have experience working in marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or Hubspot, as well as CRM platforms Salesforce or Financial Services Cloud.
- Experience creating content for emails, websites, fact sheets, job aids, and other sales materials.
