Job Description

Title: Developer II
Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)
Duration: 6 months
 
Description:
• Hours per week: 40 hours per week
• Location – US (PST Time Zone)
• Level – Junior-Mid Level
• Experience – 5+ years

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with business users to model, design, develop and deploy solutions in home grown Supply Planning Application using IBM Cplex, Python, PL/SQL.
• Develop acceptance criteria and build/execute test plans (Unit, Integration, UAT, Regression)
• Detailed investigation of existing eco-system customizations through the lens of optimization/simplification
• Respond to/investigate/resolve issues with current systems (focusing on root cause) with continuous communications to impacted users.
• Should have experience with custom developments & ability to interpret the requirements to come up with functional/ technical specifications and have them successfully implemented. Develop, Conduct Unit testing, System testing and End User Testing, Business Sign off and Deployment.
• Understanding of Supply Chain and Supply planning concepts and should have worked on integrating supply planning systems with Source systems like SAP/Treadstone/MES

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience (5 years)
• 5+ years Hands-on experience supporting and building new Supply Planning functionality in (IBM Cplex, Python, PL/SQL)
• Extensive knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes
• Should have experience in Agile methodology and SDLC phases and should be able to deliver in sprints when needed.
• Experienced using source code versioning tools like GIT Hub
• Understanding of end to end Supply chain , Inventory and Demand concepts and processes.
