Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Duration: 6 months
Working Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid 2 days a week)
Hours of Operation: 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday
 
Description:

• The consultants will be essential to support a general ledger project with an emphasis on ensuring that the reporting hierarchies in S4/HANA are accurate for future reporting purposes.
• Mapping and analyzing hierarchies within S/4 HANA against existing hierarchies used for financial and regulatory reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP.
• Expected to make recommendations at the general ledger account level for alignment and work with a broad set of stakeholders.
• Requires someone who is a self-starter, organized, and is great at cross-collaboration.

 
Must Have Requirements:

• 5-7 years of consolidated reporting at large Fis (primarily banks) or regulatory reporting to CIRO (Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization / OSFI (Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions).
• Experience within large financial institutions - Background in Accounting (reporting end).
• Confident working with large reporting hierarchies comprising of thousands of GL accounts.
• Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits.
• Stakeholder management.

 
Nice to Have Requirements:

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Previous experience analyzing and enhancing reporting hierarchies.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA (preferably previous experience).
