Job Title: User Experience Designer III
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Remote)
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
You’ll help design intuitive tools that support sellers, internal client operators, and logistics service providers in global trade operations. This role enables you to drive significant UX decisions within an enterprise-level system environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design user journeys, process flows, wireframes, and mockups to communicate interaction behaviors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features using data, user feedback, and UCD principles.
• Run usability testing and analyze performance using tools like Omniture SiteCatalyst.
• Present designs to UX teams, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain UX design standards and best practices.
• Lead thinking on enterprise-scale UX, ecommerce trends, and innovation.
• Day-to-Day Activities:
• Align product vision with design through collaboration with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
• Produce mockups, diagrams, and design artifacts.
• Document design decisions and provide assets to engineering.
• Contribute to ideation and research for future-state experiences.
• Participate in weekly team syncs, 1:1s, design critiques, and internal reviews.

 
Top Projects:

• Freight Booking Experience (similar to FedEx for freight)
• Operator Monitoring Tool for shipment tracking and seller communication
• Internal Planning Dashboards used by client business teams

 
Must-Have Qualifications:

• 7+ years of industry experience in interaction design for web/software applications.
• Bachelor's/Master’s in Design, HCI, or equivalent.
• Strong expertise in Figma for mockup creation.
• Deep knowledge of user-centered design (UCD) methodologies.
• Ability to articulate and design for complex enterprise workflows.
• Solid online portfolio with enterprise-scale B2B tools/projects.

 
Preferred Skills:

• Experience designing in enterprise environments like AWS, SAP, Salesforce, IBM, Boeing etc.
• Strong communication & stakeholder management.
• Ability to prototype using HTML/CSS/JS or Flash (nice to have).
• Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Omniture SiteCatalyst).
• Self-starter, customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

 
Top 3 Skills:

• Figma – High proficiency in mockup/design asset creation.
• User-Centered Design – Full design lifecycle knowledge.
• Enterprise UX – Design experience with complex systems/platforms.
