Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Length of Contract: 6 months
Physical Working Location (required): Toronto ON (Hybrid 2 days a Week)
Hours of Operation: 9am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday

Description

• The consultants will be essential to support a general ledger project with an emphasis on ensuring that the reporting hierarchies in S4/HANA are accurate for future reporting purposes. 
• This consultant will be responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies within S/4 HANA against existing hierarchies used for financial and regulatory reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP. 
• The consultant is expected to make recommendations at the general ledger account level for alignment and work with a broad set of stakeholders.
• This role required someone who is a self-starter, organized, and is great at cross-collaboration.

Must Have Requirements:

• 5-7 years of financial and/or regulatory reporting experience at a consolidated level.
• Experience within large financial institutions - Background in Accounting (reporting end.)
• Confident working with large reporting hierarchies comprising of thousands of GL accounts.
• Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits.
• Stakeholder management.

Nice to Have Requirements:

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Previous experience analyzing and enhancing reporting hierarchies.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA (preferably previous experience.)
