Job Title: GBM - CiP Due Diligence - Operations - Analyst
Duration: 6 months
Location: Salt Lake City , UT , 84101


Duties:
  • Global Banking & Markets Division Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world.
  • In addition, GBM Operations provides essential risk management and control functions to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation.
  • GBM Operations manages the process and controls that enable the business flow for every new product the firm launches and every trade the firm executes. 
  • As a member of the Cip Due Diligence client onboarding organization, the individual will specialize in the review of Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”)/Know Your Customer (“KYC”) information for new clients as well as for existing customers. The individual will work directly with our internal partners, clients and sales in a fast paced environment with precision and accuracy.
  • In addition, the individual will lead and motivate team members, work cross-functionally for process and procedure solutions and manage escalations.
  • The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and communicate to all levels of the organization, including sales, legal and compliance is critical.

Job duties:
  • Ensure due diligence is performed on new and existing clients to comply with KYC regulations.
  • Develop expertise in the firm's AML/Customer Identification due diligence policies.
  • Communicate with internal and external clients to obtain relevant documentary requirements in line with current policies.
  • Propose and act upon process improvements/efficiencies.
  • Participate in regular meetings with regional and global team members.
  • Work closely with regional managers to ensure case review targets are on track and being progressed.
  • Take ownership of an agreed upon workload ensuring it is processed to completion within timelines.
Skills: 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Work experience in Operations or related field.
  • Experience in Client Onboarding/ Customer Identification Program (CIP) processes. 
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Must be proactive, enthusiastic and team oriented.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prudent in escalating potential risk to the Firm.
Must Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
