Job Title: Functional Business Analyst
Location: Plainsboro, NJ 08536 (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months with Possible extension
Job Description:
As a Functional Business Analyst specializing in user interface and user experience (UI/UX), you will play a crucial role in the implementation of a Generative AI chatbot for internal and external stakeholders on the Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design intuitive user interfaces, and ensure a seamless user experience that meets business objectives and enhances customer satisfaction. Your familiarity with AgentForce will be an asset in understanding existing processes and facilitating integration.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Requirements Gathering:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and define functional requirements for the Generative AI chatbot.
• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather insights on user expectations and experiences.
• Identify data privacy and compliance requirements for Gen AI implementation.
2. UI/UX Design:
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and specifications to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Develop user journey maps and personas to guide the design process.
• Ensure designs are user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with industry best practices.
3. Implementation Support:
• Work closely with developers to ensure that chatbot solutions are implemented according to functional specifications and UI/UX standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during the implementation phase.
4. KPI Measurement and Reporting:
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and usability of the chatbot.
• Develop reporting frameworks to track and analyze performance metrics and user engagement.
• Create and present regular reports to stakeholders, summarizing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
5. Backend Data Requirement Definition:
• Collaborate with technical teams to define backend data requirements necessary for chatbot functionality and performance measurement.
• Ensure data flows are aligned with the overall system architecture and support reporting needs.
6. Testing and Validation:
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate chatbot functionality and user experience.
• Collect and analyze feedback from users post-implementation to recommend enhancements.
7. Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, designs, KPI metrics, and user feedback for future reference using tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Provide training and support materials to end-users and stakeholders.
8. Collaboration:
• Liaise with LoB stakeholders, project managers, and IT teams to align project goals and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Actively stay updated on trends in AI and chatbot technologies and share insights with the team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Life Sciences, Business, Computer Science, or similar).
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with focus on UI/UX for digital solutions iin MarTech projects, preferably in the Pharma industry.
• Familiarity with Salesforce platform and AgentForce is a bonus.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Prior experience with Agile methodology and using DevOps tools such as ADO is preferred
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CSPO) are a plus but not required.
• Experience with owning critical deliverables such as Business Process Flows, User Requirements, Functional Requirements, User Stories and Testing related artefacts.
• Experience working on AI chatbot implementations or similar projects.
• Knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar applications.
