Job Description

Title: Project Manager V
Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote

Summary:
  • The main function of the Finance project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate project activities within the Finance organization domain, with a focus on financial systems and processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage projects autonomously, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
  • This role requires the capability to lead workshops, engage with stakeholders at various levels, and manage projects from inception to completion, including risk management.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and drive projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical and business process activities.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Lead workshops and project meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, and facilitate team decision-making.
  • Create and analyze stakeholder management plans to drive overall communications and project coordination.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different levels to ensure project success and alignment.
  • Consult with subject matter experts and stakeholders to prepare project specifications and artifacts, as needed.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, providing solutions and recommendations.
  • Maintain all project documentation and provide regular status reports.
Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Finance domains (Payroll, Tax, Treasury, Accounting).
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time, managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to engage stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience in a PMO environment preferred.
