Job Description:
Key Job Responsibilities: Senior TPM, Testing and Automation
  • Manufacturing systems engineering under prod-ops is responsible for delivering test software, test hardware and test frameworks that improve speed and quality of testing of satellite components.
  • We partner with engineering and production teams to bring reliability and repeatability to our test systems, improve throughput and accelerate the transition.
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead our Testing and Automation initiatives.
  • This role will be crucial in driving the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of our testing processes and automation frameworks across multiple projects and teams.
  • This role is required to have experience in HW and SW testing, creating test simulations, developing tear down/setup systems and integrations with industry standard tools and equipment such as Test stand and Labview.
  • Success in this role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
  • The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that our testing and automation initiatives deliver measurable value while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  • They will be responsible for building and executing a roadmap that modernizes our testing infrastructure while fostering a culture of quality-first development.
 Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive testing and automation strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in implementing automated testing solutions, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure testing is integrated into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from the early stages.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple testing and automation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance the testing and automation ecosystem.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Mentor and guide team members in adopting best practices for testing and automation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align testing efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners related to testing tools and services.
 Technical Program Execution:
  • Manage software release cycles and deployment strategies in collaboration with the Test Engineering, Responsible Design Engineers and Environmental Labs.
  • Coordinate integration points between different software components
  • Drive feature development roadmaps and sprint planning
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
Environmental Testing:
  • Experience in Environmental Testing (HW and SW)
  • Experience in working with teams responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test equipment and systems used to simulate various environmental conditions for product testing.
  • This role combines technical expertise in hardware and software engineering with project management and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful deployment and deployment of test systems 
Must Have:
  • Manage software release cycles and deployment strategies in collaboration with the Test Engineering, Responsible Design Engineers and Environmental Labs.
  • Coordinate integration points between different software components
  • Communication skills
