Job Description

Title : Manager, Project/Program Management
Duration: 12 months . Contract to Perm possibility

Job Duties:

  • Provides concurrent oversight to multiple projects, programs and/or initiatives generally accountable to a single business executive or division.
  • Lead team responsible for development and management of specialized programs and/or initiatives and support execution and implementation to meet business and corporate objectives, budget targets and delivery timeframes.
  • Lead team efforts in developing solutions to difficult or complex situations by identifying, analyzing and understanding target audiences and their specific program needs. 
  • Advise and communicate with various levels within the enterprise, including senior leadership, regarding programs/projects/initiatives, emerging issues and challenges, state of the industry and additional opportunities.
  • Act as a technical resource for the team, providing guidance and direction to staff with responsibility for programs/initiatives of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Facilitate change by challenging paradigms, seeking ongoing improvements to processes/procedures, understanding enterprise impacts, leveraging diverse resources and developing creative solutions.
  • Identify key improvement metrics/scorecards and review program/initiative data and results in comparison with benchmark metrics and expected outcomes.
  • Manage team prioritization efforts and development of applicable work processes and procedures; ensure appropriate documentation, reporting and delivery in accordance with corporate and industry standards.
  • Ensure that programs meet appropriate regulatory and accreditation standards, if applicable.
  • Manage employee development initiatives for the team, including coaching, performance feedback and training.
  • Help oversee commercial segment of mandated projects.
  • Be the liaison to enterprise compliance commercial team.
  • Engage with the commercial team to discover outstanding issues and regulatory changes.
  • Monitor and track existing commercial project portfolio.

Hiring Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
  • 8+ years of experience in related field.
  • In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.
Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Compliance tool used is SAI 360.  Experience with this is a plus.
