Job Title: Studio Manager IV
Duration: 6 Months Assignment 
Location: Hartford, CT 06183

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Under moderate supervision, the Video Studio Manager is responsible for managing, scheduling and ensuring the smooth operation of the studio overall.
  • The Video Studio Manager makes sure all deliverable dates are made in a timely manner.
  • The Video Studio Manager ensures everybody is prepared for their jobs in the studio. They answer last minute questions and help keep everything running smoothly.
  • This position does not manage others but manages the studio overall.
  • The Studio Manager works in under the supervision of the Executive Producer and aligns with the expectations set forth by the Executive Creative Director(s).
  • Collaborates with Executive Producer and Lead Videographer (s) once it is determined project can be produced in-house to schedule studio time.
  • Generates and manages the studio schedule.
  • Coordinates with Project Managers to schedule work flow.
  • Manages schedules of videographers, editors, etc
  • Works with Executive Producer to determine if temporary freelance help is required during peak periods.
  • Serves as the sole conduit of all studio requests -- i.e. productions, edits, revisions etc. to maintain an orderly and well-managed studio.
  • Partners with Executive Producer to ensure that the studio has the latest video, audio editorial equipment and software to support business objectives, delivering required “look, feel and appeal”.
  • Consults with Executive Producer and Executive Creative Director(s) to ensure video strategies are being adhered too.
  • Utilizes a wide array of applications, software, tools and equipment to deliver final deliverables.
  • Manages longer term projects and ensure that projects within function are completed.
  • Ensures all final production documentation is entered, saved and updated within Workfront
