Job Description

Job Title: Test Operations Engineer
Location: Redmond WA - 100% onsite
Duration: 12 months

Overview:
We're seeking a Test Operations Engineer to support the development and reliability of test systems for hardware and software. This role involves maintaining test infrastructure, automating testing processes, and collaborating with engineering and production teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain test environments and infrastructure

  • Configure and support CI/CD pipelines

  • Troubleshoot automated test equipment (ATE) and NI TestStand systems

  • Work with Manufacturing Engineers on test station support

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks

  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing

  • Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues

  • Manage test data and support MES tools

  • Implement testing best practices and continuous improvements


Required Skills:

  • 7–9 years of experience in software testing or development

  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Java, etc.)

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git)

  • Familiar with Linux/Unix systems and network protocols

  • Background in manufacturing or aerospace environments

  • Experience with ATE and test automation tools

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills


Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Certifications like ISTQB or AWS
