Job Description

Position Title: Technical Sales Manager
Contract/Perm: Direct Hire
Location: Remote - IL, IN, WI (but travel 35% of the time to cover their territory -“The Lower Midwest”; with potential for expansion; mainly IL, IN, WI)


Job Summary:
This role is critical to driving growth within Client’s Hot-In-Place Recycling division. The position is responsible for identifying and cultivating public-sector opportunities, educating agencies on the value of the HIR process, and ensuring successful bid development and collaboration with internal teams.

Day to Day:
•    Develop and manage a pipeline of Hot-In-Place Recycling projects by building relationships with public agencies
•    Promote HIR during active construction projects and through events, Lunch & Learns, and trade shows
•    Coordinate with estimators and the Director of HIR to support bid preparation
•    Maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems like Hubspot
•    Travel approximately 35% of the time to meet with prospects and promote HIR technology
•    Serve as a key liaison between the client and external agency stakeholders

Must-Haves:
•    5+ years of sales and/or heavy highway construction experience
•    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
•    Valid driver’s license
•    Knowledge of the Hot-In-Place Recycling process and its benefits
•    Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Hubspot, Bluebeam, and other construction/CRM tools
•    Ability to travel ~35% of the time
•    Passion for sustainability and innovation in infrastructure
 
Plusses:
•    Previous experience working with public-sector agencies or DOTs
•    Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA regulations and safety compliance
•    Bilingual in English and Spanish
•    Familiarity with construction bidding processes and industry associations
