Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location: 100% Remote (Preferred SFO, CA OR Portland, OR)
Duration: 6 Months
Position Overview
You will contribute to Strategic Programs and Offerings by aligning our requirements with program objectives, driving business model changes, and ensuring offering standardization. You will collaborate with teams, including partners, business architecture, technical product management, and engineering teams, to ensure the successful launch of new initiatives. You will help build strategic initiatives, improve business processes, and facilitate collaboration between partners and IT development teams.

Position Overview

Responsibilities
- Analyzing complex business problems: You will identify and understand complex business problems related to processes. This will involve gathering data, conducting research, and applying analytical techniques to gain insights
- Promote understanding: You will help align requirements with program objectives. This includes understanding the needs of multiple partners, facilitating discussions, documenting requirements, use cases and process flows
- Being a liaison: You will help communication between partners, product managers and engineering development teams on projects. You will facilitate communication, ensuring that partner needs are understood and translated into actionable project requirements
- Collaborating with engineering teams: You will work with engineering teams to ensure that requirements are translated into technical solutions. This may involve clarifying requirements, providing guidance during the development process, and conducting testing to ensure that the final product meets the desired objectives
- Contributing throughout the project lifecycle: You will be an integral part of projects from discovery to testing to delivery. Your involvement will span multiple stages, including requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and project delivery
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 Years of business analysis supporting requirements gathering, business process mapping and system implementations
- Experience analyzing complex processes and driving execution of improvements
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
- Previous project work using SFDC, SFDC CPQ or SAP S/4
Must Haves
- Ability to Analyze Stakeholders requirements in depth and translate where necessary for our product managers to ensure there is clarity
- A desire to learn and ability to dig in where they may not be an expert and figure it out – keep asking questions until it is clear and understood
- Flexibility to adjust priorities when needed – we are in a very dynamic environment where priorities do shift
- Previous experience in Business Analysis or Product Management. Six Sigma is a plus as we document a lot of process.
