Job Title: Technical Project Manager III
Duration: 12 months (Possibility of extension)
Location: Preference for PST, but open to seeing all US time zones
The PS team develops a deep understanding of the product landscape, including trends, players, technologies, and underlying dynamics. As a member of the Market Data Strategy (MDS) team within PS, the Project Manager will partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sourcing, Privacy XFN, external vendors) to coordinate, track and execute the acquisition and maintenance of data sources, especially those related to the sales and usage of consumer electronics. The ideal candidate will have solid project management, business development or vendor management experience, as well as structured thinking & communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have solid project management, business development or vendor management experience, as well as structured thinking & communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy: Understand business needs and translate them into specific metrics/data sources to then go procure. Assist in the development of requirements and documentation for data and analytics enhancements for the product strategy team.
- Contracting: Work with Meta Sourcing, Privacy and Reality Labs team to execute new data contracts and renewals in a timely fashion. Facilitate scoping discussions for complex contracts.
- Vendor Management: Track open issues and action items with current and prospective vendors.
- Business Development: Research and evaluate new data sources and perform outreach to maintain a pipeline of new vendors to meet future data needs for PS. Have a strong perspective on ROI for spend.
- Program Management & Communication: Drive deliverables forward by tracking status, coordinating bi-weekly updates and alerting delivery risks across multiple cross-functional engineering and strategy roadmaps.
- Cross-Functional (XFN) Coordination: Work broadly across a range of XFN to identify and elevate needs, creatively solve inbound asks and aggregate needs across XFN
- Subject Matter Expertise on Data: Advise teams on which are the best source to access for inbound questions.

- 4-10 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is preferred
- 4+ years of experience in program/project management, business operations, vendor management, business development, consulting
- 2+ years of experience managing cross functional data projects (3P data source integration) in a corporate or similar role
- Experience in data modeling, project tracking, including advanced proficiency with Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders/teams to achieve outcomes
- Demonstrated experience of presenting to leadership and influencing product decisions
- Demonstrated experience structuring and solving analytical problems
- 7+ years of relevant experience in program/project management, business operations, vendor & budget management, business development
- 3+ years of experience managing cross functional data projects (3P data source integration) in a corporate or similar role, and/or data analytics/data science projects
- Experience in the consumer internet space, including social, communications, media, and entertainment verticals, experience with data privacy considerations
- Experience with data extraction tools like SQL
- Experience working with market data providers in the consumer electronics space
