Job Description

Job Title: Data Scientist III
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months 
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement AI models tailored to business needs.
• Internalize and integrate external AI programs and ensuring compatibility with our systems.
• Utilize Python/PyTorch/TensorFlow and other programming languages for developing and refining deep learning models
• Research and implement large language models (LLMs) and contribute to their adaptation in Real World Data analysis
• Implement and apply Bayesian modeling techniques in multimodal data analysis
• Support troubleshooting, optimization, and potential updates of AI models to improve performance.
 
Qualifications:
• PhD in Computational Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome). Masters degree also acceptable with 5+ years of experience but prefer PhD.
• Proficiency in Python programming, with demonstrable experience in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Understanding of large language models and applied experience in deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Familiarity with Bayesian modeling and its application within AI frameworks is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
 
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working at the intersection of AI and biology, with a focus on applying AI methodologies to biological data and research.
• Experience in image analysis using deep learning techniques.
• Experience in cloud computing environments
• Exposure to other programming languages or AI frameworks (e.g., BERT, LLAMA).
