Description:
This position is responsible for the manual process of releasing mobile shopping apps. Responsible for weekly beta releases on Android and iOS which is used for all mobile developers as a pre-step to launching features and experiences in production.

Description:

Responsibilities
- Working with teams to test and sign-off on the release in a timely fashion
- Creating release plans with accurate details
- Writing email release updates to developer teams
- QA testing manual and automated testing (25% of the job is task work, and as for automation about 50/50 automated and 50% manual)
Experience Needed:
- 4+ years of developer support experience with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 4+ years in Java JavaScript, Full Stack Mobile
- Must have manual experience
Day to Day Rhythm:
- This team handles about 2.5 mobile beta releases a week (One IOS one Android)
- Troubleshoot pipelines
- Handle crashed that have been detected and escalate
- Trouble shoot why automated tests failed
- Check quality of the release to ensure it works
- Help route issues from the beta users (Manual process using tickets)
- Will support SOP updates of the internal Wiki (Beta newsletter updates)
- QA testing manual and automated testing (25% of the job is task work, and as for automation about 50/50 automated and 50% manual)
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Needs experience with bug tracking, manual QA test execution, filing bugs
- 4+ Years of Recent Java and JavaScript REQUIRED, Full stack Mobile REQUIRED
- *Swift, Objective C and Python would be nice to have
- *Mobile development work would be nice to have
