Job Description

Position Title: Financial Analyst
Duration: 6+ months
Working Location: Chicago, IL 60606 [Hybrid in office Monday and Tuesday with flexibility]
Working hours: 8-5 PM CST
 
Role Mandate:
  • Responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the bank for various internal stakeholders.
 
Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
  • Provide guidance about financial planning and forecasting.
  • This role would require looking at the big picture bank-wide performance and providing detailed financial analysis and guidance for a variety of teams within the bank.
  • Understanding business drivers for variance analysis.
  • Compiling various data into comprehensive reporting that will be used to drive solution implementation.
  • Financial Modeling.
  • This team works with other lines of business, but they are all internal.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the last 7 years.
  • Ability to liaise with internal stakeholders across a variety of teams and with varying levels of seniority.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • History with financial modeling and forecasting.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with Commercial Deposits or Commercial Fees.
  • Any previous experience with Power BI.
