Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team for a 6-month contract. You will work on mission-critical systems, building high-scale custom applications in a modern Microsoft environment. This role focuses primarily on backend services with some frontend development (bonus if you’ve worked with Svelte). Ideal candidates will bring experience in cloud modernization and microservices architecture.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team for a 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical subject matter expert on a cross-functional Scrum team.
- Design, build, and maintain high-scale, full-stack applications using .NET Core / Web API and Azure.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and test-driven development (TDD).
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to ensure smooth deployments.
- Collaborate closely with product owners and designers to continuously deliver business value.
- Guide and mentor team members on engineering best practices and emerging technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Engage with the wider tech community and suggest innovative technologies where applicable.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering or related discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent (or 2 additional years of relevant experience).
Strong experience with:
- Full-stack development (.NET Core, Web API, and front-end frameworks).
- Cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure).
- Object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Git for version control.
- Unit testing, TDD, and XP practices (e.g., pair programming).
- Proven ability to introduce new ideas/technologies and collaborate across teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building high-scale distributed systems.
- Experience deploying to Kubernetes.
- Experience with DevOps tools and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Svelte or similar modern front-end frameworks.
- Understanding and application of SOLID principles.
- Experience in Agile/Lean development environments.
