Description:
As a Content Project Manager with our team, you will be one of the people our internal partners in the Client’s Reality Labs Organization will come to with questions about all things VR content. You will partner closely with APA Program Manager and with the knowledge you have gained attending cross functional meetings, conversations with content owners, information gathered from other sources, you will proactively push out information to XFN partners and organization stakeholders on a regular cadence. You will be a key owner in the events process - shepherding asset requests to completion and participating in strategy discussions for key events, such as the yearly Meta Gaming Showcase and Client Connect conferences.

Description:

Core Responsibilities:
- Point of contact for content that is in development and live on our platform
- Proactive communication to internal stakeholders highlighting risks, concerns and blockers
- Ability to parse through multiple sources of information and pull the right information to share out
- Developing and maintaining relationships with our internal teams and 3rd party developers
- Holding cross-functional partners accountable in providing timely status updates
- Understanding of products and experiences being shipped in VR across all Meta platforms
- Ability to speak to titles during cross functional meetings and flag strategies that may have operational risks
- Own and manage the in-depth approval process and request queue coming from all our XFN partners
- Ability to speak to the organization strategy and provide valuable strategic input, while at the same time having an ‘Operations first’ mindset
- Comfortable with representing the organization and present program updates in group settings, including occasional updates to leadership
- Understand nuances in developer communications and how to deliver and manage sensitive and/or private information, protecting our relationship with managed partners from internal churn on requests
- Partnering with Content Org, Marketing and Events teams to identify the right content to showcase at flagship events, secure asset and/or demo build approvals required from IP holders
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in project management, game development or related field
- Ability to handle assignments and information of a confidential nature
- Detail-oriented mindset with an analytical view on process, able to identify opportunities and actions needed to improve how we work as a team
- Demonstrated passion for video games and familiar with multiple genres of VR, PC and/or console games
- Solid understanding of technical specifications for digital and print assets (i.e. resolution standards, file formats, etc) and PC hardware and software (graphics cards, memory, storage, display adapters, general PC gaming hardware knowledge)
- Above average proficiency in Windows or Mac OS (command line, file structure, permissions, etc.)
- Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain focused while juggling multiple tasks and assignments
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to navigate complex cross-functional initiatives with diplomacy
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven excellent project management skills / experience
- Video Games knowledge; plays, reads and knows about games, developers and key industry events
- Experience working with Marketing / Creative and Events teams, familiar with video/image capture and editing terminology (screen/print resolution, aspect ratios, frame rates, etc.)
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with VR content
- Experience with new hardware consumer launches, and familiarity in handling new types of proprietary software
- Experience with Salesforce and Digital Asset Management tools
