Job Title: In-House Design Traffic/Project Manager
Location: Hershey, PA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ Months
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Traffic/Project Manager to support the client's In-House Design Team. This individual will be responsible for managing the end-to-end workflow of all design projects, from intake to final delivery. The role involves coordinating closely with marketing teams, tracking project status, assigning work to a team of four designers based on bandwidth and skill set, and ensuring the smooth execution of all deliverables.
This role also supports asset management through the HAS system and oversees workflow tracking using WebCenter (an ESKO system).

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design process and ensure timely delivery of assets across functional teams through regular status meetings with designers, Marketing, and Packaging Graphics.
- Establish and maintain effective communication, tracking protocols, and issue resolution procedures.
- Manage assigned projects independently using digital project management tools and systems.
- Act as the central point of contact for communication between the design team and Marketing.
- Review final packaging graphics in approval platforms to ensure alignment with released design artwork, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Continuously assess and improve workflow systems and processes in collaboration with the Senior Design Manager and Operations team.
- Recommend upgrades or changes to systems to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
- Maintain current knowledge of internal systems, stakeholders, and procedures related to the in-house design process.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Printing, Packaging, Graphic Arts, Packaging Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry, with a background in graphic arts and project management.
- Proven experience in the CPG industry.
- Strong background in project or traffic management.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to delegate effectively based on project complexity and team strengths.
- Capable of managing a high volume of projects (currently over 100 active at a time).
