Job Description

Role: Data/Business Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid (3 days a week)
Duration: 7+ Months

Overview:
We have an exciting project to work with a key client to offer our alternative investment products on the clients’ distributor version of the iCapital platform. We will have a general partner site to set up our products and they will render as a “tile” on the client’s portal to allow advisors/clients to subscribe to the products and to access related documentation.

Role and Responsibilities:
This opportunity requires that we have key fields from our client, account, and related party master files to align with the client’s master files.
• Identifying and resolving differences
• Handling missing values
• Transforming the data into a usable format

The work will require collaboration and excellent communications skills across a number of partners. The resources must be adept at exploring patterns, identifying trends, and uncovering insights from the data to make recommendations on how to resolve issues and presenting data and recommendations to stakeholders.

Experience Required:
• 5 to 7 years as a Data/Business Analyst in a Financial Services firm (preference to Asset Management and/or Alternative Investments)
• Attention to detail
• Expert in productivity tools
• Strong communicator with excellent organizational skills
• Experience in client on-boarding and/or AML KYC
• Experience in re-engineering/establishing work processes and controls to ensure data quality and crafting/documenting required procedures

Qualifications:
• Ability to collaborate effectively with partners
• Strong analytical skills to explore data patterns and trends
• Proficiency in presenting data and insights to stakeholders
