Job Description

Job Title: Vendor Operations Manager (Level V)
Location: Fully Remote 
Duration: 1 year 

Summary:
The Vendor Operations Manager will coordinate and manage vendor users on proprietary localization tools and maintain approved vendor resource databases. This role interfaces with internal teams such as Content, Policy, Legal, Communications, Marketing, and Engineering, as well as with external vendors. The ideal candidate has experience defining large-scale processes, launching new pipelines of content, and scaling teams via external vendor support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate onboarding and provisioning of external resources on internal systems, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Manage relationships and communication with a diverse network of localization vendors.

  • Develop and execute vendor testing, probation, and localization schedules.

  • Track and resolve issues affecting vendor operations and efficiencies.

  • Ensure clarity of assignments, adherence to timelines, and quality of deliveries.

  • Analyze vendor workflows and recommend process optimizations.

  • Support cross-functional teams (Program Management, Language Management, Engineering) to ensure localization requirements are met.

  • Define vendor platform designs and automation in collaboration with tooling teams.

  • Improve and optimize internal and external processes and workflows.

  • Create product documentation and training materials for new product rollouts.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on workflows, providing guidance to stakeholders.

  • Monitor compliance with security requirements, KPIs, and best practices.

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts, including policy updates and tooling enhancements.

  • Act as point of contact for escalations and complex issue resolution.

  • Promote wellness practices across delivery centers.

  • Travel up to 30% to visit delivery centers and engage stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in vendor management or a related field, with proven expertise in scaling vendor operations and driving process improvements.

  • Strong experience managing scaled vendor operations, particularly in developer operations, community, business integrity, or site integrity functions.

  • Experience launching new business processes.

  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills.

  • Analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, data analysis).

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience overseeing trust and safety operations at a tech company.

  • Experience in app review, trust & safety scaled operations, or localization.

  • Background in AR/VR content or integrity assessment (e.g., identifying inappropriate app content).
