Job Description

Title: Supply Chain Analyst IV
Duration: 6+ Months (possible extension upto an year)
Location: CA- Bay Area, Fremont

Summary:
The primary role of a Supply Chain Analyst is to define, build, manage, and measure global asset management. This position may also involve procurement responsibilities and performance analysis of suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical development of innovative inventory planning and logistics processes.
  • Review and optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, and other relevant factors.
  • Own and manage the end-to-end global asset management process and systems.
  • Define and analyze metrics to evaluate product success.
  • Drive automation initiatives in collaboration with engineers and designers.
  • Maintain strong internal relationships with key decision-makers and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Approve purchases ensuring high quality, cost-effectiveness, and appropriate quantities.
  • Manage purchase orders, bid proposals, and requisitions for goods and services.
  • Guide staff in resolving issues related to undelivered goods.
  • Train staff in negotiation, contract administration, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address defective or unacceptable goods/services and determine corrective actions.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and identify necessary changes.

Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals, and technical data.
  • Proficient in documenting and recording customer/client information.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of purchasing laws and regulations.
  • Expertise in supply chain management principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant applications.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
