Job Description
Title: Accounting Analyst II
Location: Calgary, AB, hybrid (Mon, Tue, Thu in office)
Duration: 1 year
Duties & Responsibilities:
This position is responsible the coordination, preparation, maintenance, and analysis of the Corporate General Ledgers. Focus on supporting the accounting for the Corporate function’s monthly corporate accounting activities and includes preparing journal entries, maintaining schedules, completing account reconciliations and analysis. Identify, research, and implement general ledger process improvements. Responds to ad hoc queries and analysis requirements in support of the financial reporting processes. The expectation is to work with significant independence on standard assignments.

MUST HAVE qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree – Commerce, Business or equivalent;
- 3-5 years or more accounting/finance related experience;
- Excellent computer skills including a high level of proficiency with - Microsoft Office (Excel);
- Outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills combined with a results-oriented business approach;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several project deadlines concurrently;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Proven team player, demonstrating a high level of cooperation and mutual respect;

Working Conditions:
- Overtime is required during quarter end close periods.
