Job Description

Job Title: Associate (Data Analysis)
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Local candidates preferred; willingness to work onsite at the ATO office ~2 times/week as required by manager)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (with potential for extension)
 
Position Overview:
The Clinical Pharmacology Modeling & Simulation (CPMS) group, located in Thousand Oaks, CA, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate to support their expanding team. This role is ideal for recent graduates (0–2 years of experience) with a strong foundation in data analysis and software tools such as Excel. The position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PK-PD) data analysis within a leading biopharmaceutical organization.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, modify, and analyze PK-PD data using specialized software and macros
  • Generate and QC datasets, tables, figures, listings, and reports to ensure accuracy and consistency with source documentation
  • Draft scientific reports and contribute to cross-functional timelines
  • Maintain documentation and support archival efforts
  • Participate in ongoing projects and perform additional duties as needed
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (academic or industry)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in data analysis and/or programming in R or SAS
  • Familiarity with scientific research or clinical data environments
